The following are excluded from conformity assessment:

 
1. Equipment and materials for electrical and motor-driven devices with a rated input exceeding 10 kW.
 
2. Assembly kits (sets) for scientific experiments used in educational institutions such as schools, among equipment and materials for electrical and motor-driven devices, lighting devices, or multimedia devices, which operate on USB or battery (including rechargeable battery) power.
 
3. Equipment and materials belonging to digital devices, which are among the following:
a. Headphones and loudspeakers (speakers) without amplifiers in active electronic circuits.
b. Infrared communication-based remote control devices (e.g., TV remotes, etc.).
c. Camera lenses.
d. Batteries (including power banks, e-cigarette batteries).
 
4. Equipment and materials for electrical and motor-driven devices, lighting devices, or digital devices operating on USB or battery (including rechargeable battery) power, which are among the following:
a. Portable electronic calculators, digital scales, digital thermo-hygrometers, digital thermometers, digital blood glucose meters, digital levels, digital multimeters, or similar devices used for simple calculation or measurement.
b. Electronic watches with only a simple clock function.
c. Electric lighters used for ignition.
d. Toys (children's toys) that do not use a motor and temporarily (less than 2 minutes) produce only light and sound, or only light or sound.
e. Equipment and materials with only a simple lighting function (including simple On/Off and blinking functions, simple adjustment of lighting brightness and color) or similar equipment and materials.
 
5. Cables, cable connectors, and cable accessories that connect one-on-one without a separate power source, among equipment and materials belonging to multimedia devices.
