According to Article 234 of the Korean Customs Act, the following items are explicitly prohibited from import and export:

1. Books, publications, drawings, films, records, videos, sculptures, or similar items that disturb constitutional order, public safety, or morals.

2. Items that disclose government secrets or are used for espionage activities.

3. Counterfeit, forged, or imitation currency, bonds, or other securities.

There are other cases where imports are prohibited under other laws managed by relevant authorities.

These items are naturally banned from import if they do not receive import requirements approval.

Therefore, it is necessary to check if the import requirements approval can be obtained for each item.

If you are a foreigner planning to export goods to Korea, you must check in advance whether your items meet the import requirements and are not prohibited from import.
