The information provided by the Customs Service regarding the country of origin marking for goods imported as a set is as follows.
1. Goods to which the criteria for imported set goods can be applied are those specified in Annex 2-2 of the 'Notice on the Operation of the Country of Origin Marking System'.
2. In the case of imported set goods, if the country of origin of the individual goods constituting the set goods is the same and they are sold as set goods to the final purchaser, the country of origin may not be marked on the individual goods, but may be marked on the packaging or container of the goods.
3. If the country of origin of the individual goods constituting the imported set goods is from two or more countries, the country of origin must be marked on each individual good, and the country of origin of the individual goods must be listed and marked on the packaging or container of the set goods. (e.g., Made in China, Taiwan, ····)
It should be noted that not all goods are subject to the set goods country of origin marking regulations just because they are configured as a set.
Furthermore, the country of origin can only be marked on the packaging/container of the goods if the country of origin of all individual goods is the same.
If the country of origin of the individual goods is from two or more countries, each must be marked individually, and the country of origin of the individual goods must be listed on the packaging/container.
